A swedish oak aged addition to the ever impressive range of Sweden's leading whisky distiller.
7-9 year old malt with abou 10% Swedish oak and the rest Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Oloroso Sherry casks.
Nose: sappy oak, ginger, milky rice pudding, flinty and minerally, smoked almonds, elderflower and lime with some earthy notes.
Palate: Toasted vanilla, ginger biscuits, herbal lozenges, aromatic spices, ripe orchard fruits, stewed apple and pear.
Finish: rice pudding, gingersnaps, vanilla, sweet, sappy oak, lime pie, pear drops and sugared almonds.
